The province scrupulously organized the work to plant trees as required by the technical requirements.

Many areas in the province stirred up the competition enthusiasm among units so as to involve a large number of people in tree-planting.

Such trees as zelkova and pine-nut were planted at hillocks, streets, villages and around railway sections.

The province has paid attention to raising the rate of rooting of saplings while continuing to push ahead with tree-planting.
