As the command force for supplying electricity for farming was organized with officials of the Agricultural Commission and other relevant units, the ministry is conducting meticulous operations and command to provide enough electricity for the units in charge of the supply of farm materials and the production of farm machines.

It has encouraged the workers at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the Suphung Power Station and other thermal and hydro power stations to make a leap in the production of electricity.

It clearly set the amount of electricity to be supplied to the Kumsong Tractor Factory, the Anju Pump Factory and other major units and, on this basis, is taking timely measures to solve the knotty problems in cooperation with relevant units.

It is stepping up the work to supply electricity to those factories and enterprises producing fertilizer, plastic sheets, plastic pipes and other farming materials in keeping with their production capacities and specific conditions.

In addition, the ministry has taken substantial steps to prevent any slight deviation in the supply of electricity to the major granaries including South Hwanghae and North Phyongan provinces as they are busy sowing rice seeds in seedbeds.
