Thanks to the efforts of agricultural officials and workers in the province, the repair and maintenance of tractors, rice-transplanting machines and other farm machines have been completed in the main.

The provincial rural economy committee made a survey of the operation of all the farm machines and, on this basis, intensified technical guidance to increase the production of spare parts and held a ceremony for putting farm machines in service and a tool exhibition to inspire the working masses' creative ingenuity.

Yonan and Paechon counties produced tens of thousands of accessories to make full preparations for operating tractors.

Similar successes were made in other counties, too.

Officials and workers at the Haeju Tractor Accessory Factory introduced efficient processing methods to produce accessories and send them to rural communities.
