Mangyongdae, where Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, was born and spent his childhood, is the sacred place of revolution deeply cherished in the minds of the Korean people and the world revolutionary people.

At the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site, its visitors are filled with deep yearning and reverence for the President who devoted his whole life to the liberation and prosperity of the country and the accomplishment of the cause of independence of the masses of the people.

According to data available, the number of visitors to the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site has reached nearly 15.8 million, including 437,000 foreigners and 19,000 overseas compatriots, for more than 10 years since the start of the new century of Juche.
