Munchon City and Phyonggang County are concentrating efforts on strengthening the production foundation of raw material bases while conducting mass movement to cultivate new land after examining the area of land and the distribution of forests in the area.

Kosan County has made efforts to establish cultivation and natural raw material bases while securing high-yielding seeds.

Meanwhile, cities and counties in the province have increased the area of forest of oil-bearing trees and paper forests and transported high-quality self-sufficing manure to raw material bases by raising the operation rate of vehicles.
