The Ministry of Land and Environment Protection has directed big efforts to ensuring that the road technical remodeling project is carried out as planned.

The ministry has ensured that North and South Hamgyong and Jagang provinces have pushed ahead with the construction of tunnels at various places, the construction and repair of more than 100 bridges and the remodeling of roads in hundreds of meters of sections simultaneously in close cooperation with relevant sectors and units.

The Haeju City People's Committee of South Hwanghae Province, the Anju City People's Committee of South Phyongan Province and North Hwanghae Province, too, have carried out major road repair projects, dredging of rivers, embankment projects and creation of landscape.
