More University Graduates Volunteer for Revolutionary Sites and Faraway Schools
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- Graduates from universities of education and teachers training colleges in North and South Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces have volunteered to work for revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, island branch schools and mountain schools.

Those in North Hamgyong Province petitioned to work at the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, mountain schools, branch schools on islands and other places.

The graduates from Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teachers Training College and Hamhung University of Education, all of whom are discharged soldiers, volunteered to work for mountain and rural schools.

Those who graduated with high marks, too, made up their minds to work for mountain schools in Jangjin, Yodok and other counties.

Among such volunteers are also graduates from Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education, Sinuiju Teachers Training College and other schools in North Phyongan Province.

Present at the congratulatory meetings held in the relevant areas were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), An Kuk Hon, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, Kim Chol U, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, youth league officials, youth and students.

A certificate was awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speeches and oath-taking speeches were made there.

Officials, youth and students presented bouquets to the volunteers and gave pep-talks to them.
