The Ministry of Coal Industry set phased goals for major projects to raise conveyance capacity and took steps to supply equipment and materials. Meanwhile, it has ramped up control and guidance over the project for building a belt-conveyor and the production of coal wagons.

The Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex has directed efforts to tunneling for installing a belt conveyor while providing responsible guidance to the process and technical guidance to speed up the production of equipment parts and accessories.

The tunneling workers of the Ryongdung Coal Mine, aware that the success of the belt conveyor project depends on them, have carried out more than 90 percent of the main tunneling plan.

The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex are pushing ahead with the construction of belt conveyors.

The February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine have stepped up the work to maintain and reinforce equipment.

Officials and coal miners of the Inpho Youth Coal Mine are speeding up the building project by introducing rational blasting methods fit for rock conditions.

Technicians and workers of the Sunchon Coal-mining Machine Factory, the Pukchang Coal-mining Machine Factory and the Unsan Coal-mining Equipment Parts Plant are making more successes in the production of belt conveyor parts and accessories.

The coal miners of the Tukjang Youth Coal Mine under the Tukjang Area Coal Mining Complex have carried out their tunneling plans every day, displaying the collective spirit.

An undertaking is going on at coal mines across the country to secure coal wagons.

Thanks to the efforts of officials and workers in the coal industry, the ministry-wide production plan of coal wagons for the first quarter of the year was over-fulfilled by 144 percent and the production of coal-wagon wheels increased 1.7 times the planned.
