At the outset of the year, the Jaeryong Regional Irrigation Management Station began to pump water from the Taedong River so as to fill the reservoirs.

The Chongsan pumping station in the West Sea Barrage-Sinchon, Kangryong and Ongjin waterway repaired and maintained large water pumps and is now supplying irrigation water to relevant farms without interruption.

Such practice can be witnessed at many other regional irrigational management stations across the country, including the Kiyang Regional Irrigation Management Station.
