Many low- and single-storied dwelling houses were built at the villages, and fruit and other trees of good species and shrubs planted around the houses, adding beauty to the surrounding landscape. This represents the ever-changing appearance of the socialist cultural countryside.

Present at the ceremony for moving into new houses on Tuesday were Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Anak County.

So Hak Song, vice-chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address.

Licenses were handed over and speeches were made there.

After the ceremony, cheerful peasant dancing parties were held and the happy laughter of people was heard from every village.

Officials congratulated the owners of the new house, sharing joy with them.
