What merits attention is the fact that the struggle for impeaching Yoon has turned into that for overthrowing him, along with the surging wrath of population, as he has been engrossed only in war moves and repression despite the stern judgment of candlelight ralliers.

The 90th candlelight rally and demonstration took place in Seoul on May 18 amid the mounting struggle against Yoon's provocative moves. Taking part in the rally held on the theme of "Overthrow Yoon Suk Yeol" were many people including workers, peasants, youths and even children and the aged.

At the rally, speakers stressed that the people would not overlook the situation, in which Yoon is making last-ditch efforts to stay in power, and surely overthrow him and Kim Kon Hui just as they downed with Syngman Rhee.

Then the participants took demonstration, shouting slogans and holding such large placards and posters as "Beat him down with stick" and "Oust the Yoon Suk Yeol regime defending Kim Kon Hui".

Meanwhile, rallies in demand of the impeachment of puppet Yoon were staged all at once in Kwangju on the occasion of the May 18 Kwangju popular uprising.
