Rice-transplanting has been completed on the main areas of more than 110 cities, counties and nearly 2 000 farms across the country amid the mounting all-people struggle to attain the grain production goal for this year set forth by the Party.

Districts and counties in Pyongyang Municipality transplanted rice seedlings at the right time and qualitatively by arousing enthusiasm of farmers and helpers.

Kumchon, Sohung and Sinphyong counties of North Hwanghae Province tended rice seedbeds in a scientific and technological way and transplanted rice seedlings according to conditions of growth.

The similar successes are witnessed in Kangwon Province, Kaesong Municipality, South Hwanghae Province, etc.
