Officials of the UAWK Central Committee organized an agitation group and launched political work and agitation campaign at farms in Ryokpho District, Pyongyang, thus instilling strength and courage into the agricultural workers out in the rice-transplanting.

The agitation activities of UAWK officials in South Phyongan Province, including Pukchang and Sukchon counties, doubled loyalty and patriotic zeal of the agricultural workers to repay the Workers' Party of Korea's love and benevolence with increased grain production.

UAWK officials in South Hwanghae Province encouraged all the union members to do farm work in a meticulous and sincere manner and introduced the deeds of exemplary farmers, thus raising the effectiveness of ideological education.

The Kangwon Provincial Committee of the UAWK, too, conducted explanation and propaganda at farms of the province, and UAWK officials in North Phyongan Province displayed revolutionary slogans and mottos on every farm field and conducted an agitation campaign.

UAWK officials in Jagang Province and Nampho Municipality gave performance tours of farms to instill into the agricultural workers consciousness of being masters responsible for the country's granary.
