Among the spectators were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, Ri Tu Song, department director of the WPK Central Committee, Mun Chol, chairman of the C.C., Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and participants in the celebrations of the 78th KCU anniversary and schoolchildren in the capital city of Pyongyang.

Members of the Russian youth friendship delegation on a visit to the DPRK enjoyed the evening gala.

As a clarion call was resounded, the evening gala began with the "March of the Children's Union" amid cheerful drum dance of schoolchildren and display of fireworks.

The schoolchildren presented beautiful songs and dances in reflection of their happiness and optimism of growing up while bringing their hope and talents into full bloom under the benevolent care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They showed anti-Japanese children's dances and letters including "Jidokche" (ample knowledge, high morality and strong physique) through diverse changing formations to rev up the festive mood.

Fireworks were displayed illuminating the nocturnal sky of Pyongyang.

The evening gala was at its height when the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" and cheers of schoolchildren rocking the square were heard with the spectacular fireworks and nocturnal electric light decoration.

The night of Pyongyang was beautifully decorated with high spirit and optimism of the successors who are steadfastly carrying forward the brilliant history and tradition of the Juche-oriented children's movement and the soul of revolution true to the noble intention of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
