New Houses Built at Janggyo Farm of DPRK
Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- Kangnam County, Pyongyang Municipality of the DPRK, was the first in the country to finish the rural housing construction planned for this year.

The Janggyo Farm in the county has built cozy and modern houses again after last year.

A meeting for moving into those houses took place on the spot on Wednesday.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Man Song, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, officials of the Party and power organs in the municipality, officials concerned and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Kangnam County.

Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, made a congratulatory address.

Licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and oath-taking speeches were made.

A performance was given by the county mobile artistic motivation team and a cheerful peasant dancing party displayed to rev up the atmosphere of moving into new houses.

Officials visited the owners of new houses to share joy with them.
