Its inauguration ceremony took place on June 19.

Present there were Ri Kyong Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and working people in the city and employees of the factory.

Ri Song Bom, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.
