This is an essential requirement for them to fully prepare themselves as genuine Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists, the editorial says, and goes on:

It is most important to study with the main emphasis on grasping the party-building exploits of the peerlessly great men.

The history of the WPK is a history in which the WPK has advanced under the outstanding guidance of the leader with his revolutionary ideology as a guideline and has developed through the uncompromising struggle against all sorts of trivial element and practice contrary to his ideological and leadership system.

Only when we have a deep study of the WPK history, can we clearly understand how the political climate with the validity of the Party's lines and policies, its wise leadership and the monolithic ideology and leadership as its core, has been created and consolidated, and can we remain boundlessly loyal to the leader with firm confidence in the invincibility of the Party's cause.

In particular, through the profound study of the WPK history of the past more than ten years which have witnessed the great change of the destiny of our state and people under the leadership of the WPK Central Committee, we should keep in mind the dignity of the WPK Central Committee at the highest level, possess a high degree of political sensibility and ideological and theoretical qualifications and become true loyalists dedicating themselves to defending the ideology and prestige of the WPK Central Committee.

The editorial calls on all the officials and members of the WPK to deeply grasp the history of the WPK foundation and development and remain true to the ideology and leadership of the WPK Central Committee and thus more strikingly demonstrate to the whole world the everlasting prestige and glory of the WPK whose inheritance and legitimacy are pure.
