The framework for dozens of blocks was completed in the Namphung Pit area of the Komdok Mining Complex and several sections of the Ryongchon Mine. And the framework for houses has been pushed ahead with at the final stage in the areas of Roun Pit area, Youth Pit area and Muhak Pit area.

The construction unit of the Komdok Mining Complex carried out the framework of nearly 300 flats in the Namphung Pit area, giving precedence to the assembling of formwork and the processing of steel bars to ensure speed and quality of the construction.

The construction unit of the Tanchon Smeltery introduced a new construction method to finish the framework ahead of schedule.

All other production units under the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry are speeding up the construction projects including the framework of dwelling houses, the construction of retaining walls and pavement of roads.
