The 97th candlelight rally and demonstration under the theme of "Clearly look at the enraged public mindset for impeachment!" took place in Seoul on July 6.

The co-representative of the candlelight action and other speakers said that more than 1.23 million people attended the campaign for "petitioning for immediately proposing a bill on impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol", adding that the people's mindset on impeachment is erupting that it is, indeed, a impeachment resistance.

The present crisis was caused by Yoon Suk Yeol, the war maniac, fascist dictator and chief criminal of destroying the people's living, they said, disclosing Yoon's crimes against peace, democracy and people.

The more persistently Yoon resorts to the war moves and the fascist dictatorial rule, the stronger the hot wind of impeachment will grow, they said, calling upon people from all walks of life to firmly fight for the impeachment of Yoon.

The participants staged a demonstration, chanting slogans "Let us impeach Yoon Suk Yeol with the ten million people's petitions and the one million people's candlelight!" and "Let us show impeachment storm and mettle!"

Meanwhile, a large-scale candlelight march was staged in Taegu under the sponsorship of the Taegu candlelight action in demand of the impeachment of Yoon and special inspection of Kim Kon Hui.

Puppet media said that the candlelight demonstration, which was held for the first time after the number of the people participating in the campaign petitioning for the impeachment of Yoon exceeded one million, was full of confidence and enthusiasm of the participants, and that massive candlelight resistance to make the "impeachment storm" by the efforts of people from all walks of life will continue to grow stronger.
