Scientists of the institute have developed the water pump shaft of a high-capacity and high-performance thermal turbine generator by introducing advanced technology.

This provided another material and technical foundation for ensuring the normal operation of existing thermal power generating equipment and steadily increasing the electricity production.

The institute also provided a guarantee for producing more accessories of modern farm machines and tractors with spherical graphite cast iron of good mechanical property and established a rolled steel production process using new steel-making raw materials.
