Rodong Sinmun Calls for Improving Officials' Method and Style of Work
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in an editorial that the officials' method and style of work are not an issue in view of their level or qualification but an important political issue directly related to the leadership prestige of the Workers' Party of Korea.

If the officials in charge of all posts of socialist construction are well prepared, they can vigorously push forward the revolutionary projects as intended, the editorial says, and goes on:

It is the steadfast will of the WPK to maintain and cultivate the revolutionary and people-oriented guiding style and pure political climate within the Party so as to make the peculiar communist style be carried forward.

All the officials should prepare themselves for competent commanding officials of the revolution with the extraordinary sweep and fighting and practical capabilities able to correctly guide the working masses to the accomplishment of the revolutionary task by directing redoubled efforts to establishing the revolutionary and people-oriented method and style of work.

They should never forget even a moment that their position is for shouldering heavier burden and working harder for the Party and the revolution, the country and the people and that their working method and moral traits reflect the Party's prestige and image.

They should go deep to realities to fully realize the loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm cherished by the masses, make it as their habit to respect and devote themselves to them, learn from them and inspire them, sharing sweets and bitters with them. By doing so, they should absolutely implement the Party’s policies without an inch of deflection.

The way for our officials to fulfill their heavy responsibility granted by the Party and the revolution lies in organizing and conducting all the work with the revolutionary and people-oriented method of work and moral traits and as required by them.
