A researching group of the university established a research plan for using cellulose-decomposition bacteria in manufacturing extracted Koryo medicine and conducted trial production at a relevant factory.

It achieved new successes in saving anthracite consumed in the course of making extracted Koryo medicine and increasing the extractive amount of essential ingredient in medicinal herbs.

The research finding was highly appreciated at the 37th National Festival of Science and Technology held this year.
