Progress Made in Housing Construction in Flood-hit Areas of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Builders of the High-Speed Youth Shock Brigade, involved in the housing construction in the flood-hit areas of North Phyongan Province, finished the excavation and concrete tamping of foundations for high-rise apartment houses and are pushing ahead with the frame construction.

Members of the youth shock brigade in charge of the construction of Block No. 42 of apartment houses are carrying out their daily task by making all processes dovetailed with each other, while raising the specialization level of all jobs, including the processing of steel bars and the assembling of formwork.

Those in charge of the construction of Block No. 41 of apartment houses are registering high results every day.

The construction sites of the blocks Nos. 35 and 36 of apartment houses are seething with the framework construction. Youth builders are making collective innovations while ensuring the quality of construction.
