28th General Meeting of Chongsanghoe Held
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The 28th regular general meeting of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan (Chongsanghoe) was held in Tokyo, Japan on September 28.

Present there were Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Hyon Tae Sik, director of its Economic Department, and members of Chongsanghoe.

A congratulatory message from the homeland was introduced at the meeting.

Kim Min Gwan, chairman of Chongsanghoe, made an opening address and Song Myong Nam, chairman of its Central Standing Management Board, made a report.

The reporter referred to the successes made by Chongsanghoe in the work for supporting national education and revitalizing the lower-echelon organizations during the period under review.

He said that the 30th formation anniversary of Chongsanghoe, organized by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il and specially trusted by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, would be greeted as an important occasion of demonstrating its appearance as the reserves of the main force steadily leading the patriotic movement including national education, the wide youth organization in which young Koreans of various circles are firmly united with good virtue and affection, and an attractive economic organization.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Then "Chongsanghoe Prize" was awarded to exemplary members.

At the meeting, Kim Min Gwan was reelected as the chairman of Chongsanghoe and O Hyong Se was elected as the chairman of its Central Standing Management Board.

Pak Ku Ho made an address. He called on Chongsanghoe to play a leading role in opening up a new era of prosperity of Chongryon by helping compatriots of all strata pool their inexhaustible efforts and thus adorn its 30th formation anniversary in high spirits and with innovative achievements.
