On Oct. 19, an anti-war peace rally was held in Seoul under the sponsorship of such organizations as the headquarters of movement for the impeachment of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime and the people's action.

Speakers there denounced the Yoon group for resorting to military provocations through drone infiltration and leaflet-scattering operations, not content with ceaseless war drills. The group, driven into a tight corner due to its untold evil deeds and fascist dictatorship which fomented the war crisis and resulted in economic bankruptcy, people's destitution and disasters, is engrossed in war gambling with the lives of the people to get rid of its ruling crisis, and such action should never be allowed, they said.

On the same day, there took place the 111th candlelight rally and demonstration on the theme of "Down with Yoon-Kon Hui, the war tyrant and kingpin of injustices!"

The speakers at the candlelight rally charged that Yoon is instigating the military to provoke armed conflict in a bid to maintain his power and wielding the prosecution dictatorship to hush up the hideous scandals of his wife Kim Kon Hui and, in this way, driving the whole ROK into the crucible of war and the cesspool of corruption.

Meanwhile, the candlelight action made public a "bill on impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol" carrying the public demand.

In the rally, there was a ceremony of tearing down placards with the letters "trickster for war martial law" and the dirty looks of Yoon group and Kim Kon Hui.

Then a resolution on intensive candlelight demonstrations in October was read out.

At the end of the rally, its participants staged a demonstration, chanting slogans and holding large placards and posters with such letters reading "Down with Yoon-Kon Hui!"

The demonstrators with candlelight in their hands expressed their will to continue the struggle until puppet Yoon has been impeached.
