The school has a school building, a gymnasium, a hostel for teachers and other facilities and environment for putting education on a practical, comprehensive and modern basis at a high level.

An inaugural ceremony took place on the spot on Nov. 20.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, officials and builders who contributed to the construction, and teaching staff, students and parents.

The chairman of the municipal people's committee made an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the school and watched a schoolchildren's sports game and art performance.
