Work to Conserve National Heritage Conducted in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- A public campaign to preserve the historical remains and relics has been launched in Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK.

The Municipal Management Office for the Protection of National Heritage finished the repairs to at least 20 old buildings, including the Sungyang Confucian Shrine. And they were repainted red and blue.

Employees of the Management Office for Mausoleum of King Wang Kon repaired well some historical relics.

The Koryo Museum is fumigating historical relics and remains while making achievements in the preservation of relics associated with wisdom and talents of the ancestors.

Officials and employees of the Pakyon Falls Scenic Spot Conservation Office carried out the masonry work and repair of tourist road section extending several kilometers and the fire surveillance over the forest under protection and meticulous prevention of harmful insect damage.

The Municipal Management Office for Natural Monuments makes its employees take good care of natural monuments.
