Coal Production Goes Up in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Tukjang Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK is expanding successes after carrying out its coal production plan for January.

It launched a project for remodeling the transport system to raise the operation rate of coal wagons and their passing capacity, while directing efforts to giving precedence to prospective tunneling.

The Tukjang Youth Coal Mine has pushed ahead with the work to realize the comprehensive mechanization of pit work and the diverse transport while ensuring the normal operation of newly-operated belt conveyor system, producing much more coal than planned every day.

Workers of Myonghak and Ryongsan coal mines are registering higher production results than the same period of last year.

Workers and technicians of the Tukjang Coal-mining Machine Factory have produced various kinds of accessories to contribute to increasing the coal production.
