Work for Strengthening Technical Forces Launched in DPRK

Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in the DPRK direct efforts to strengthening their own technical forces. The Taean Heavy Machine Complex spruced up a school of skilled workers and has concentrated effort on improving its teachers' educational and practical qualifications. In the course, the educational conditions and environment were renewed and superior teaching methods were introduced. As a result, many graduates from the school are playing an active role at production sites to contribute to the increased production. Officials of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex are taking the lead in the technical innovation movement while organizing the work to increase the ranks of inventors and appreciating them to stir up the masses' enthusiasm. The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex has enrolled the new workers in the study-while-working educational system and made achievements by conducting technical and skill passing-on group activities. The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex built a simulation practice place for operators by using information processing technology to train technical talents. The Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, the Phyongsong School Uniform Factory and other units, too, are conducting the work to train technical talents, regarding it as a link in the whole chain for putting production on a normal basis and developing units. |
