The municipality sent much manure to the farms early in January. It also organized an exhibition of medium and small farm implements to boost enthusiasm of the agricultural workers out in immediate farming.

Officials and working people of many units and areas including Nampho Port, the West Sea Barrage Office and the municipal power transmission and distribution station provided tens of thousands of medium and small farm implements necessary for spring farming with the consciousness that they are responsible for the country's granary together with agricultural workers.

Working people in Chollima and Kangso districts devoted themselves to securing farming materials and farm implements including vinyl sheets and knapsack sprayers and those in Taean and Hanggu districts concentrated efforts on preparing various kinds of small farm implements and equipment for leveling the ground and manuring and cultivating crops.

Making rounds of the venues of exhibitions of small and medium farm implements, officials of the municipality, districts and counties encouraged the working people who contributed to increasing the proportion of mechanization in farming by presenting excellent farm implements, and discussed the ways for more positively supporting farms.
