The provincial rural economy committee organized a sci-tech short course for technical experts of workteams at farms. It also organized the work to generalize the experience of the Yakjon Farm in Sukchon County, which made achievements in agricultural production last year by introducing new farming techniques and methods, so that everyone can turn out in a drive for scientific farming.

The short course on the Juche farming methods and the technical study according to the farming processes have been organized to increase the agricultural workers' zeal for scientific farming.

The committee has made agricultural scientists and researchers create scientific farming methods to cope with disastrous abnormal weather. Meanwhile, it worked out technical guidelines on each farming process to suit the regional characteristics and sent them to cities and counties for prearrangement.

It is also making the effective preparations for coping with various forms of disastrous abnormal weather like high temperature, drought and typhoon as well as further strengthening the material and technical foundations of irrigational sector.
