Workers and GFTUK Members Meet with Winners of Communist Mother Honor Prize

Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- Workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea met with winners of the Communist Mother Honor Prize at the Central Hall of Workers on March 7 to mark the 115th March 8 International Women's Day. Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, trade union officials, workers and trade union members in Pyongyang. The winners made speeches at the meeting. Han Kum Suk, a worker at the Chollima Steel Complex, said that she only brought her many children up as soldiers defending the country, but came to lead a valuable life as a communist mother known to the whole country, thanks to the loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who gives the highest glory to our women striving to fulfill their duty for the society and families. Ri Hwa Suk, a worker at the Sariwon Baby Home who has taken care of tens of orphans while devoting herself to assisting the army, expressed her determination to bring all her children up as patriots ready to dedicate themselves to the country, cherishing the noble title of communist mother given by Kim Jong Un all her life. Nam Kil Hyon, a woman living in people's neighborhood unit No. 91, Ryonghung-dong No. 1 of Taesong District, has positively encouraged her husband and children to uphold the Party's plan for building a powerful country with high scientific research results, while working in the field of geological prospecting for over 30 years. She called upon all the participants to work with devotion at their revolutionary posts and fulfill their mission and duty as mothers in bringing up their children as good ones. Then oath-taking speeches were made. |
