Ranks of Socialist Patriotic Young Vanguard Grow in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The noble mental world of the younger generation in the DPRK is stirring up the times with the steadily increasing number of socialist patriotic young vanguard. A young worker at the large machine-tool workshop of the Ryongsong Machine Complex has made lots of inventions and over-fulfilled his national economic plan every year, thus receiving Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize. A researcher at the Automation Institute under the State Academy of Sciences won many inventions certificates and sci-tech achievements introduction certifications and thus became a winner of the February 16 Science and Technology Prize and the Youth Science and Technology Prize. A young weaver at the Sariwon Textile Mill has steadily raised her technical knowledge and skills and created new standards and records to become a winner of Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and a girl innovator and a high-level skilled worker under the care of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea. A young technical worker of the Samri Farm in Unryul County of South Hwanghae Province has turned 10-odd hectares of low-yielding land into a fertile land for the past nine years. Among those youths honored with socialist patriotic young vanguard under the care of the WPK are a worker at the Rakwon General Machine Enterprise who has contributed to implementing the national economic plan through a brisk technical innovation movement while voluntarily taking care of orphans, a driver of the Paekam Mine Timber Production Station under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau who fulfilled his timber transport plan ahead of schedule with the consciousness that transport means production, and a worker at the Ungok Pit of the Sudong Coal Production Station under the Hamnam Area Coal-mining Complex who made a contribution to increasing the coal production. |
