Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an editorial calls upon all sectors and units of the country to intensify a drive for increased production through campaigns in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with them, and thus glorify this significant year with unprecedented production successes. Unprecedented production successes have been made in every part of the country, in hearty response to the call of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea for achieving miraculous successes through a new drive for increased production, the editorial says, and go on: In order to intensify the drive for increased production and creation across the country by steadily raising the fighting spirit of our people out in the struggle to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee, all sectors and units should conduct brisk campaigns in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with them. There is no better way than the mass movement for overtaking the advanced people and units, helping backward people and units, and actively sharing and transferring good successes and experience in the ongoing drive for boosting production. Only when units standing in the vanguard of advancing ranks of the times continue to create model experience and share it with each other and when backward units conduct a fierce pursuit campaign to overtake the advanced units, is it possible to successfully carry out the vast tasks and glorify this year as an eye-opening year, a year of great changes to be specially recorded in the history of development of our Party and Republic. All the officials, Party members and other working people should turn out in the struggle to produce more, better and faster under the slogan "Let us greet the glorious Congress by dint of increased production!" |
