Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- At a time when all the people in the DPRK are inflamed with hostility against the U.S. imperialists and the ROK military gangsters hell-bent on the reckless large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield 2025 to stifle the DPRK at any cost, more than 1,200 graduates of senior middle schools in North Hwanghae Province have volunteered for military service at forefront border posts. Graduates in Sariwon City and Kumchon and Thosan counties petitioned their youth league organizations to send them to forefront border posts. Graduates of Hwangju Middle School for Orphans and graduate students in Songrim City and Phyongsan and Junghwa counties, too, vowed to stand at the posts for national defence. Those in Sangwon, Koksan, Sohung, Pongsan and other counties are filled with the single mind to reliably defend their beloved motherland with arms and glorify every moment of their military service with feats. At the petition meetings held in relevant cities and counties, war veterans handed over the national flags of the DPRK to the volunteers, requesting them to perform military feats in the struggle for defending the country. All the participants were deeply moved to hear the volunteers' speeches reflecting their ardent patriotism and will to firmly defend the country and annihilate the enemies. |
