Newly Built Regional-Industry Factories Improve Product Quality
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties of the DPRK now strive to produce quality goods.

The Songchon County Foodstuff Factory, the Hamju County Foodstuff Factory and the Kusong City Foodstuff Factory are effectively operating sci-tech learning spaces and the day of studying technology.

Foodstuff factories in other cities and counties including Tongsin County, too, are conducting a technical innovation movement to produce more foodstuffs that can represent their regions.

Officials, workers and technicians of the daily necessities factories in Ichon and Kumya counties mass-produce quality laundry soaps by keeping technical rules and standard operating methods in all processes.

Daily necessities factories in other cities and counties including Sukchon and Kyongsong counties are further raising the quality of goods through a movement of exchanging experience while stepping up the production of laundry soaps, various kinds of plastic goods and furniture.

Meanwhile, garment factories in cities and counties including Songchon and Onchon counties are striving to bring about innovations in design, cutting and processing.

Teachers and researchers from institutions in Pyongyang including the State Academy of Sciences, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, the Food and Consumer Goods Research Institute under the Ministry of Regional Industry and the Academy of Light Industry under the Ministry of Light Industry have given field technical guidance to regional-industry factories to make them improve quality of products.
