Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province of the DPRK directs big efforts to increasing the grain production this year by doing farming well on the Honggondo Tideland. The province has pushed ahead with the work to perfect the irrigation system, while taking measures to supply enough water. Meanwhile, the construction of floodgate, pipe-burying and other structures is progressing in a three-dimensional way. And measures were taken to secure seeds necessary for tideland farming and supply farming materials. The work for bringing a rich harvest to thousands of hectares of Honggondo tideland-turned fields is progressing apace. |
