Officials and educators in the relevant field set up a class for children with hearing disorder at the Hwawon Kindergarten No. 2 in Hwasong District, Pyongyang Municipality, assigned teachers and doctors in charge of them and improved teaching program to suit the actual conditions.

And they produced multimedia, published new teaching materials for deaf-and-dumb education and provided hundreds of teaching aids and toys.

They also provided living conditions for children with disabilities as they organize the weekly kindergarten class and made sure that the children attend the kindergarten from their home by bus.

On April 1, the first lesson for children with disabilities from various districts of the municipality was given at the Hwawon Kindergarten No. 2.

On the basis of generalizing the experience gained by the kindergarten in education given in an experimental way, kindergarten classes for children with disabilities will be organized and operated in all provinces from next year.
