Presented to the festival were more than 250 calligraphic pieces produced by calligraphy experts and fans.

Ardent yearning and boundless reverence for the President, great sage of the revolution and founder of socialist Korea, are reflected in such works as "The eternal leader of our people" and "The leader, we are yearning for you".

Such calligraphic works as "We are happy children" and "The biggest country united with love" and "Successor" represent the boundless pride and happiness of the new generation growing up to be reliable successors who will shoulder the future of a powerful Korea under the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, creators, working people, youth and students in Pyongyang.
