The symposium was held in form of academic and research seminar in the fields of hygienic and anti-epidemics, Koryo medicine, surgery, internal medicine, basic medicine, pharmacy, ozone treatment and rheumatic treatment.

Present there were scientists, researchers, teachers and medical workers in the public health sector.

More than 400 research papers of significance in clinical practice and valuable medical sci-tech achievements made in the anti-epidemic and public health fields were presented to the symposium.

The papers presented by scientists, researchers, teachers and medical workers of the Central Disease Prevention and Control Center, the Academy of Medical Science, the Korean General Red Cross Hospital, the Koryo Medicine General Hospital, the Ryugyong Dental Hospital, Haeju University of Medicine, the North Hamgyong Provincial General Hospital and the South Phyongan Provincial Hospital of Koryo Medicine were highly appreciated for their practical significance.
