Implementation of Party's Childcare Policy in 2024 Reviewed

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- A meeting to review the work for implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's childcare policy in 2024 was held at the Cabinet of the DPRK on April 9 through video conferencing. Present there were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other senior party and government officials, officials of the Cabinet, commissions, ministries, national agencies, armed forces organs, provincial, city and county party and power organs and officials of relevant fields. A report was made. The reporter said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who set it as the most important policy to provide the children with better conditions for upbringing, wisely led the struggle for implementing it. Many successes have been made in the work of last year to thoroughly implement the Party's childcare policy, true to the lofty intention of the Party Central Committee which set it as an important revolutionary work to bring up the children, the future of the country, stoutly, the reporter noted. He referred to the fact that the creation of pasture and the construction of goat pens have been pushed forward in real earnest and the number of cows and goats of supra-species increased amid the brisk work for strengthening the production foundation at milk production units across the country. The report analyzed and reviewed some defects and deviations revealed by some units including failing to ensure the quality of milk products at a standard level. The meeting called on all officials to fulfill their duty, always bearing in mind that the work for thoroughly implementing the Party's childcare policy is an important work for bringing into practice the socialist policy for the children. |
