The Okryu Construction Company under the Chongryu Management Bureau for Construction of the Pyongyang Construction Commission installed solar panels in a place favourable for sunshine conditions, built a triple power system and produced 25 percent of the daily consumption electricity by itself, thus providing electricity for computers and other equipment as well as lighting.

Chongryu Primary School in Taedonggang District has created the generating capacity by natural energy to suit its specific characteristics and installed converters to save a lot of electricity every month and conduct teaching activities smoothly.

Officials and employees of the Pyongyang Silk Joint Venture Company are also striving to produce even one watt of more electricity while installing solar panels and normalizing their operation.
