An inauguration ceremony for 10,000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area was held with splendor in the presence of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un. Skyscrapers, high-rise apartment houses and public buildings including educational, commercial and service facilities were wonderfully built in ideal harmony into a flourishing socialist living space, a home of the people. The magnificent residential quarters built one after another in Songhwa Street, Hwasong Street, Rimhung Street and other parts of the country are associated with the painstaking efforts made by the respected General Secretary for the people. He attended the ground-breaking ceremonies of declaring the construction of new streets, made speeches full of confidence and enthusiasm and personally took up the first spade to signal the start of construction. He, who regarded it as his cherished desire to provide the people with happy living places to be envied by the world, guided more than 1,000 layouts of Songhwa Street and examined 1,630-odd layouts of the apartment district at the first stage in the Hwasong area and gave precious instructions. He guided the construction site of 10,000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area nearing completion on March 15 and gave field guidance to the preparations for the operation of major service facilities built in the district nearing its completion on April 3. On the day of the inaugural ceremony, he came to the spot to cut off the inauguration tape and met working people and old persons who are to move into new houses, hoping that they would all lead a happy life in good health in new houses.
