Present there on invitation were Alvaro Lopez Miera, politburo member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, vice-minister of Revolutionary Armed Forces and chief of the General Staff of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, vice-president of the Council of Ministers, Jorge Marti Martinez, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, and officials of the party, state and army of Cuba.

The DPRK ambassador to Cuba and staff members of his embassy were on hand.
