The delegation led by Kim Kye Gwan, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, visited China from Feb. 9 to 13 at the invitation of Wu Dawei, special envoy of the Chinese government for the affairs of the Korean Peninsula.

During the visit both sides had an in-depth discussion on the issue of boosting the DPRK-China relations and matters of speeding up the denuclearization of the peninsula through confidence building such as the conclusion of a peace treaty, the lifting of sanctions and the resumption of the six-party talks.
