| Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a gift and a large floral basket from Ali Muhammad Habib Mahmoud, minister of Defence and deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Syria, on the occasion of his birthday. The gift and basket were handed to the DPRK ambassador to Syria by the director of the Section of Protocol of the Organizational and Administrative Department of the Syrian Defence Ministry, on Feb. 8. |
