The statement recalled that the south Korean puppet clique is desperately working to bring down socialist Korea by mobilizing the "National Intelligence Service", the "Defense Security Command" and other spy and plot-breeding organizations and such government institutions as the "Ministry of Unification", adding that these acts are intolerable.

It expressed positive support for the joint statement issued for the purpose of foiling the ridiculous anti-DPRK moves of the south Korean puppet clique and resolutely defending the socialist system centered on the popular masses and extended firm solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle to do so.

Meanwhile, the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain issued a statement on Feb. 13 supporting the joint statement.
