This slogan reflects the revolutionary philosophy based on the Juche idea, the national self-esteem which calls for building a rich and powerful nation by one's own efforts with indigenous technology and locally available resources and the spirit of making uninterrupted revolution to bring earlier brighter future with great hope and ideal. It also reflects strong fighting spirit and pluck to attain a goal with one step while others make a thousand steps to do so and stand high on the world.
