Kim in the message noted that the people of the DPRK are rejoiced over the achievements gained by the Vietnamese people in the efforts for the country's reunification and socialist construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam over the last 65 years and wish friendly Vietnam bigger progress and prosperity.

He expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would steadily develop along the common road of socialism.
