On display in its venue were potted Kimilsungias together with books and photos on the revolutionary life of President Kim Il Sung and his exploits and Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il and photos showing the efforts of the Korean people for building a thriving nation.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremony.

Ristiyanto, chairman of the Indonesia-Korea Association for Friendship and Cultural Exchange, said that Kimilsungia is a symbol of historical friendly relations between Indonesia and the DPRK provided by President Sukarno and President Kim Il Sung.

The first vice-chancellor of a university, noted that the President was the great father of the Korean people who devoted his all to the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people all his life and his exploits would be immortal along with Kimilsungia.

The deputy general chairman of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, extended support and solidarity to the efforts of the Korean people to build a thriving socialist nation and achieve the cause of national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
